TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
